With over 19 years of working with technology helping my clients achieve their business goals, I have come to realize that technology for its own sake does not make sense. The "coolness" of the technology needs to be balanced with the value delivered to the business. Change management (or enablement as we used to call it) is critical to ensure that the systems I build are used by the people for whom it is built.
